Class Description

Advanced Piano studies focus on building out the comprehension of musical styles through the larger works of the piano repertoire. Technical capabilities are expanded to Olympic-level feats. Above all, musicality and a mature understanding of the works studied are valued and reinforced, so the student begins developing their artistic voice.

Dr. Michael Schneider is in high demand as a master teacher at universities and music festivals across the United States. He has been working with advanced students for over 20 years at prestigious institutions such as “Pianofest in the Hamptons” and the University of Texas at Austin. His students have been prizewinners in competitions across the United States and featured in Carnegie Hall.
